Dear Mr.Pockett,
Thank you for a visit and an interesting lesson! We really enjoyed it. Next time students want to discuss humor in different countries, especially British humor.

Isaac

After your visit to two of my classes two weeks ago, students in both groups remembered you. From my teens, there were recollections of our discussion of love, and the set and subset exercise you led. Michael was happy about exploring the relationship of unhealthy food to love. My adults had a lengthy conversation which rested on the two topics of the Olympics and Flood situation in England. The boys more involved; one, who’d lived a time in London, spoke excitedly about life there, another was interested in your view of Sochi Games and a third was shocked and impressed by current flood disaster, about which I also had heard nothing until you came. Another student, a woman who hardly spoke during your stay, was still glad you’d come, and said she’d enjoyed listening to another native speaker speaks freely – but she still said that she preferred an American accent. Ha!

Dear Mr Pockett,
I am writing to express my gratitude to you for having talked to my group of teenagers on Wednesday, February 17.

As we discussed with you afterwards, taking into account their beginning level they appear to have done quite well, which was also comfirmed through my conversation with them. They told me they had enjoyed talking to you and were happy to be able to understand you and ask questions, — not all of them, certainly, but this, as you have pointed out, might have occurred due to their vulnerable tricky age that stops them being open and talkative — this will hopefully go away soon! Otherwise, I strongly believe that the value of such meetings is really difficult to overestimate — they help them boost their confidence in the language and provide a great pportunity to get a natural feeling of it, which, in turn, encourages and inspires them on their challenging way to a better level.
Please accept my sincere thanks for coming, as well as for your detailed feedback — I really appreciate that. I look forward to your next visit.
